CHAPTER NINETEEN

Jai massaged my hips, where his fingerprints were already showing up, then swiveled me onto my back on the hill. The grass was cool and tickly against my bare skin, and I was flushed with lingering pleasure. Above, the sun must have set, because all I could see was a sky streaked with deep indigo and a few brave stars.

“Are you ready?” he asked, standing and looking down on me, his eyes flooding with black.

“Boss, I’ve been ready longer than you,” I said, cocking an eyebrow. His grin was slow and liquid as he did that cool guy thing, reaching behind his neck and pulling off his shirt in one smooth motion.

I took him in with a greedy, unashamed stare. The viper tattoo coiling around his shoulder and rippling down his side was a promise of lethal sensuality. His skin was smooth and perfect, with rows of compact, sculpted muscle. Nothing on this man was wasted, and I planned to spend the rest of my life putting it all to good use.

He cracked a grin. Not out loud, but you’re leaking like crazy.

Deal with it, vampire. I’m in your head for good, now. I smirked up at him. Then I forgot to think as he unbuckled his belt and drew the leather strap from its loops, inch by damn inch. My fingers itched to take over and make him go faster, but I resisted. This show was fucking good. Next came the button, then the zipper, one goddamn tooth at a time.

“You’re killing me, smalls,” I muttered, just as his cock finally sprang free.

“Smalls?” he repeated, glancing down at himself as he toed off his boots and pants.

“Ah, movie,” I said, feeling my skin flush. “Nothing small here.”

I reached for him, and he let me, his hands loose at his sides. He watched with a growing hunger as I slid one hand up and down his silky shaft. I wrapped my lips around just the tip of him, teasing his slit with my tongue. The chill on his skin was still a marvel to me - how even the air around us was dropping in degrees as he gave another tiny, breathless moan.

Then, as if he couldn’t bear to wait another second, Jai grabbed my arms and whirled us around so I was sitting on his lap again, my legs spread wide across his hips. His cock jerked against my belly, and I stared straight in his eyes as I raised up enough to line his tip up with my opening.

The whites of his eyes gave way to darkness as I slid down his shaft, hissing at the sensation of being filled with living ice. As cold as he was inside me, though, he pulsed with electricity. I was on fire with need, and his power was both fueling and feeding that desire.
